The Youth Employment programme of the ILO is starting a project on internships. In the past decades, internships have been burgeoning in developed countries, as well as more recently in developing countries. As internships become more frequent, the lack of global understanding of this phenomenon becomes an emerging issue.
The ILO Youth Employment is trying to investigating the internship conditions across the world as well as the relationship between the rise in internships and the youth employment crisis. For this purpose, a questionnaire has been elaborated in order to capture present and past interns’ experience regarding their internship.
As you may know, collecting data is one of the many challenges of internships, given the high turnover among interns. The Youth Employment Programme of the ILO knows your commitment regarding this issue and that is why we hope to receive your support.
