NOM project manager position is open!

In the spring of 2024, a meeting of the Nordic Organizational Meeting (NOM) will be held in Latvia. To implement the project, the Latvian Student Union invites you to apply for the position of project manager! You’re welcome to apply until the 16th of October!

As a project manager, you will have the opportunity to gain new experience in project management and a deeper understanding of international representation.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • creation and implementation of the plan according to deadlines, budget and quality requirements; 
  • financial planning and its responsible application;
  • solving management and human resources issues; 
  • attraction of supporters; 
  • regular communication and close cooperation with the LSA board.

You can apply for the position of project manager until this year’s 16th of October (included). Your application must be sent electronically to lsa@lsa.lv including:

  • your CV;
  • motivation letter;
  • vision, with set goals and results.

After reviewing the applications, the LSA board will invite the candidates for an interview. Previous participation in projects or in the organization of them will be considered an advantage!

NOM is a consultative meeting of the national student unions of the Nordic and Baltic countries, which takes place twice a year shortly before the European Student Unions (ESU) Board Meetings, bringing together student representatives in various seminars and discussions. The purpose of NOM is to gather current events in the context of higher education in the form of discussions, including organizational, educational, welfare, financial and other topical issues in the international environment.
